Project Objectives
The client needed to transform its supply-chain by implementing an SAP APO Demand Planning solution to facilitate the delivery of precise and relevant business outlook, improve profitability and reduce inventory costs.

Solution
Having already worked on numerous SAP APO projects, the client selected Nsight to perform a feasibility study and implement the APO Demand Planning solution. The new SAP APO system allowed the client to have a 360 degree of its assembly lines at each of its plants. The implementation involved the deployment of capabilities that would enable the client to plan sales demand, validate the release of finished products and their deployment to distribution warehouses and schedule short- and medium term production at a detailed site-by-site level. The end result was an increase in forecast accuracy and improved production capacity utilization.
