Project Objectives
The customer is a multinational software and services organization specializing in enterprise systems management solutions. The existing reporting system did not provide the flexibility and scalability that the company required. With the reporting system users took longer to learn and develop their skills, causing a decrease in overall productivity. After replacing the existing Siebel CRM system with SAP CRM, the management needed a reporting solution that provided line-of-sight visibility from initial prospect contacts to closed deals. The customer's requirement was to design a robust solution which allowed end users the ability to create custom reports themselves.

Solution
Nsight's solution architects implemented SAP BusinessObjects, a comprehensive software package that brings together the actionable insight required for confident decision making. Enhancements were made to the standard BW datasources to meet the complex information and data needs of the business. Queries were created against the info providers and imported to SAP BusinessObjects Universe to deliver a user friendly and flexible analytical and formatted reporting. The team from Nsight quickly developed a robust solution which seamlessly integrated the capabilities of Netweaver BI in the back end with Web Intelligence, Xcelsius and Crystal Reports as the front end reporting tools. The end result- powerful dashboard reporting capabilities for the executive management along with summary and detail reports for end users.
